ABOUT ME

- HOME GROWN IN LOCUST FORK, ALABAMA -

I learned, at a very early age, the importance of a strong work ethic, diligence, organization, and ambition. Growing up on my family's farm involved physical labor, a willingness to work, and an ability to keep a positive attitude in adverse working conditions.

Keeping up with studies, work, and  extracurricular activities while struggling to cope with a learning disability has been the most difficult part of my life. A severe case of dyslexia led many to believe I would never achieve my dream of graduating from Auburn University. Working my way to the top twenty percentile of my class, with a 3.46 GPA, speaks to my diligence and ambition. Throughout my time at Auburn University I maintained stable employment, which stands testament to my organizational and time management skills. These traits, along with the deeply rooted values and beliefs instilled in me by my family, continue to shape my future.

In December 2014, I graduated Cum Laude from Auburn University,  receiving a BS in Hotel and Restaurant Management, with a minor in Business. With a professional background ranging from hosting 800 second-graders to hosting private events at the home of Auburn Athletics Director Jay Jacobs, I am qualified and suitable for opportunities available to candidates with up to five years of experience.

I view my education as a patchwork quilt of academic training and practical experience that grows with my every accomplishment. These, collectively, are a representation of who I am as a student, employee, and life-long learner.
